t's a small portable device that sends out a strident sound or buzzing alert when ever electricity supply from the National grid is restored. It can be be installed by anyone with the slightest knowledge of Electrical/Electricity - Easy to install.
HOW IT WORKS:
When Electricity supply from the national grid ("NEPA") goes off, the user turns on the power switch on the power alert while he/she turns on the Generator.
Note that most houses have a change over device from national electricity grid ("NEPA") to Gen and vice versa. If the user has no need to turn on the Generator there would be no need to power on the alert too and the user's change over still remains in the "NEPA" position.
The Sound from the power alert doesn't cause panic but loud enough to reach any part of the house. Thus it saves the users the inconvenience of going forth and back checking the conventional bulb indicators for "NEPA" notification. You can be busy wherever while the power alert notifies you that the national electricity has been restored.
It is connected at the point where the normal bulb indicators for "NEPA' is connected.
It saves generator fuel consumption, as users can now quickly be alerted when "NEPA" is restored and will quickly go to turn off their Generators.
It's very durable. Life span is 5 years and above.
